EVER thought about giving martial arts a try? Or just looking for a fun way to keep fit?
Why not pop into Drymen Village Hall on Saturday morning for a free trial lesson where you can find out all about Tae Kwon-Do from former Scottish champion Rosemary Kerr.
The free trial, and subsequent classes, run from 9am to 10am (juniors up to age 11) and 10am to 11am (all ages) and there’s no need for any special clothing or equipment – just wear a t-shirt and a pair of joggers and bring a bottle of water.
“Tae Kwon-Do is a martial art for all the family,” says Rosemary who has a first dan in the martial art. “And it’s one of most powerful systems of self defence ever devised.”
The classes are being run by Rosemary and her partner – third dan holder Steve Sharpe – who have twenty years’ experience between them and have run classes in Leicester and Fife before moving to Alexandria.
There’s no need to book ahead, just drop into Drymen Village Hall on Saturday (29 August) at the relevant time.
