Duncan McCrone: Colourblind

Duncan_ColourblindBASED just outside the G63 area, Scottish folk singer/songwriter Duncan McCrone and his band are no strangers having played well-received shows at Buchanan Memorial Hall.

His latest album, Colourblind, is a superb collection of songs and, in our opinion, features some of the best work to come from McCrone’s writing partnership with long time collaborator – and bass player in the band – Cy Jack.

Fantastic playing from the band and some distinguished guests and solid arrangements help the songs really shine throughout.

Our favourite of the lot is title track Colourblind, which tells the story of McCrone’s  grandfather – an artist who saw the world in a rather different way to his wife.

Other highlights include Days Like Today and Never a Soldier…bit there plenty gems Find out for yourself and preview the tracks here or by clicking the banner below.
