BUSINESSES, third sector organisations and anyone with an interest in the rural economy are being encouraged to attend a consultation event and share their experience to aid the creation of a five year rural action plan for the area.
Organised by Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER on behalf of Stirling Council, the event at Killearn Village Hall on 29 October (7.30pm) offers a chance to be part of the discussion on key actions to help the economy of Rural Stirling in the next five years.
The plan and resulting actions will extend beyond what the council itself to include all who work in, or impact on, the rural economy and aims to help communities and enterprises thrive while encouraging economic diversity in Stirling’s rural areas.
Results of some recent research into the rural economy which will be shared with attendees and refreshments will be served
