FANCY trying canoeing with expert guidance from qualified instructors? Or maybe you’d like to hone your skills on the water or take part in a canoe adventure on the loch.
Tayler Made Adventures is running an exciting range of canoeing activities for all ages (six and over) at Milarrochy bay as part of a wider Pop Up in the Park programme which also includes gorge walking and other pursuits.
Sessions kick of this coming weekend with a ‘come and have a go’ session at 1pm on Saturday (26 March). At 2.30pm there’s a three- hour island explore session offering paddling tuition and a trip round some of the nearby islands nearby.
Then at 6pm a sunset paddle lets participants enjoy the water at twilight as the sun sets over the loch.
On Sunday (27 March) a sunrise paddle at 6.30am is followed by a learn to paddle/island explore session at 9am and another ‘have a go’ introduction to canoeing session at 12:30pm.
There’s an ongoing timetable of similar sessions over the following weeks giving anyone interested a great opportunity to try canoeing in a spectacular setting under the watchful eye of qualified and experience of the Tayler Made training team.
Advance booking is advised – although some of the sessions can be joined on a walk-up basis (subject to availability).
