FOLLOWING a successful series of events in other areas of the National Park, a new group promoting health walks launches in Drymen on Thursday (May 4).
Walk in the Park health walks use the beautiful and nurturing surroundings of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park as the venue for a series of increasingly popular weekday walks and is keen for more local communities to get involved and discover the benefits.
“Everyone is welcome to join in,” says project leader Fran Crumley. “There’s no cost to take part int he walks which usually last 45-60 minutes, then there’s a chance to chat and find out more over a coffee after the walk.”
Walk in the Park currently manages health walk groups in Balloch, Killin, Aberfoyle and Callander and looks forward to welcoming walkers to this new group which will meet on Drymen Village Square, outside The Winnock Hotel every Thursday at 10.20am.
